1How accessible is the farm?
We are a farm and nothing is paved. Our driveway is 1/2 mile long and is gravel so it can oftentimes be a little bumpy. The parking area is hard-packed grass making it an easy and beautiful walk to the wedding tree located behind the home. There is a short, but beautiful, walk to get to from the parking to the ceremony site. If there are handicap guests we are more than happy to shuttle them to the ceremony site with our farm cart by our venue staff, we ask that this be made known to us prior to the event with names of who needs assistance. The Rustic Lounge does not have a ramp but the outdoor area is flat and easy to get around. Bathrooms are rustic and there is one small step up to the restroom area.
All weddings and events require a nonrefundable deposit. Any payment or installments made are nonrefundable. If your wedding is canceled within 8 months of the contracted date, any remaining payments are excused.
3How long can we be on property?
If booking a wedding without accommodations, your rental is 10 hours long. 3 hours of setup and getting ready in the suites, 1 hour for the ceremony, 1 hour for cocktail hour, 3.5 hours for the reception and 1.5 hours for clean up. Bar service is for 3.5 hours and the bridal party is allowed on the property 3 hours before ceremony time.. All other guests aside from immediate family and bridal party are asked not to arrive until 45 minutes before the ceremony starts.
4Do we need a planner or coordinator?
Yes! And here is why! We want your day to be as perfect as possible and we want you and your family to remember how seamless your wedding day was. With a coordinator, it takes the burden and stress off of you and your immediate family. When booking A La Carte venue option, a coordinator or planner is required. When booking an all-inclusive with us, a day of coordinator is included.
5Can we bring outside vendors?
Yes! When booking out A La Carte venue only option, you are most welcome to curate your own list of vendors! We just ask for approval on your catering team. Bar service must be done through Morgan Farms or Artful Libations.
6Can we bring our dog?
Subject to approval but we love dogs and know that sometimes it is not the same without your fur baby present. We are a working farm with live farm animals so we ask that this be subject to approval.
7Are there bathrooms?
We do have bathrooms on site. We have a three-stall rustic bathroom facility located behind The Rustic Lounge.
8I see you have a sister venue- what is that?
Located just 3 miles from Morgan Farms in the heart of Downtown Oxford sits the historic Orpheum Theater. Just recently undergone a two-year major renovation, this theater has been renovated with its original art deco charm brought back to life and is now a wedding and event venue. Perfect for your rehearsal dinner or indoor reception if you would like to have just your ceremony at Morgan Farms and indoor reception at The Orpheum. Different package rates apply for joint use of both venues. Please inquire for availability and pricing
9What is your capacity?
Our capacity is 150. Guest counts over 75 will be required to have a tent on site adjacent to The Rustic Lounge in case of inclement weather .When booking a large wedding package with us, the price includes a tent rental. The Rustic Lounge will serve as the backup plan for rain for guests of 75 and under. Tent rental is included with your price of guest counts over 75.
10When is last call?
We ask that all bar service end by 10:00 and reception and wedding are over by 10:30 with all guests and vendors offsite by 11:30.
11Can we pick up items the next morning?
If any items are left on site, they must be boxed up and ready for pick up by 10:00 the following morning. A time arrangement must be made with management for items to be picked up.
